Climate Action Newbrough and Fourstones tree planting weekend Sat 12th & Sun 13th March
You may remember back in the summer of 2020 there was a huge fire at a young woodland plantation - Haydon Fell. Thousands of trees were decimated.
Climate Action Newbrough and Fourstones have been organising planting days up there since October last year. We've planted 500 trees in 3 morning sessions with a total of 12 volunteers. We have 500 more trees to go in and we have set the mornings of Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March to go up and get them in the ground. Many hands make light work. Can you help?
